The Copper Moon Retreat

Welcome to the Copper Moon Retreat. Our quiet lakefront rooms are just the place for a sneak-away weekend out of town or a peaceful stop on your Yukon adventure. Cozy spaces with all the comforts of home, and activities for all the seasons. Curl up next to the stove with a cup of cocoa on a cold night or watch the loons on the lake as you wake to the summer sunshine.

Go for a ski or hike and melt into the hot tub at the end of your day.

Our Accommodations

Main Suite

Available year-round
Enjoy the quiet wonders of Echo Lake in this treetop room with a view. The suite accommodates up to four people with a queen size bed and futon.*
* Please note that the main suite does not have running water.

Two bedroom Suite

Available June, July and August
Two bedroom suite with a beautiful view and easy access to the lake. Kitchen, bathroom, private deck, satellite t.v. and wireless internet access.

  • Water sports (no motorized boats on the lake)
  • Bird watching
  • Wonderful northern light displays to view
  • Although there is no fishing in our lake we are very close to several excellent spots
  • One-on-One Artist workshop with artists from the Copper Moon Gallery can also be arranged

Rates

  • $100 per night for either suite, based on double occupancy.
  • Additional people $10/night extra
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours to original booking will be charged for one night

Visa and MasterCard accepted. Prices based on double occupancy. $10 for each additional person.

Gallery Visits

Copper Moon Retreat owned by the Copper Moon Gallery encourages everyone to visit the gallery while they stay in Whitehorse. Let us know what art medium you are interested in and we would be happy to hook you up with one of the many artists for private instructions.

Everyone who stays at the retreat will receive a 5% discount voucher for the gallery.
