Theresa Meers
Originally from British Columbia, Theresa became hooked on Stained
Glass after she took a weekend class in Whitehorse in 1997. Hired
by the instructor, a renowned Stained Glass artist, Theresa spent
many hours hunched over a grinder while taking trays of glass home
to foil at night to further hone her skills.
Theresa now calls Faro home with her husband Tiny. Her work is
created in a cozy cabin in the forest of the Tintina Subdivision.
She enjoys creating pieces that are important to her and reflect
the beauty of the Yukon. While working in lead, copper foil and
mosaics, she creates suncatchers, terrariums, lamps, birdhouses,
custom designed panels, windows, signs and restorations.
