Mike Mason

I was born and raised in Dawson City, Yukon. I am of the wolf clan. I am a creative artist that has created a design that has no beginning and no end, such as the circle of life.  My style is called a Unique One-Line design that is carved in antlers or painted on canvas. I have had collectors from around the world that have marveled at my style. I have had two of my pieces selected for the National Native Art Collection in Ottawa.  These pieces are proudly displayed amongst the best in Canada. 

My line continues and comes from my ancestors stories and dreams. My family originated from Alaska, then up to the mouth of the Chandinu River along the Yukon River.  Nature plays a large part of my images and bonds our connection with the Earth. Our people have lived off the salmon, caribou, and the moose ever since we set foot on this land. Conservation and preservation is our key to keeping the population strong and our inherent right to harvest and protect from exploitation.
