Mark Kelly
Mark Kelly was born in Ontario in 1971. On his 8th birthday he received a Kodak Instamatic 110 camera. He began clicking the shutter then and has not stopped since. This passion for photography has led him to live in Canada, the UK and Switzerland. His travels have taken him all over North, Central and South America, Europe and South East Asia.
Mark travelled to the Yukon for a canoe trip in 1997 and vowed to return. In August of 1999 he did just that, and moved his life here in January of 2000. He continues to travel by boot, boat, canoe and kayak capturing images of the Canadian wilderness, wildlife and cultural events. He continues to fill his insatiable need for travel abroad while capturing unique images of international places, peoples and their cultures.
Mark splits his time between his counselling practice where he uses photography in the therapeutic process, life as a Phd student and his personal/professional photographic pursuits. He lives, works and studies with his wife Brooke in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
