Don Weir

Don Weir began painting over 30 years ago while teaching school in northern British Columbia, Canada.
Weir works mainly in oil and his art concentrates on interpreting the abstract elements of the landforms of the areas of the world where he lives and works. He travels widely and his work reflects those travels whether they be his explorations of the landforms of northern Mexico or the broad expanses of the Arctic regions of Canada and Alaska.
He presently lives and works out of his home near Atlin in the far northwestern tip of British Columbia.
