About the Copper Moon Gallery

High on the banks of the beautiful Yukon River in a large warehouse, deep in the back of the Mcrae Industrial area, just south of Whitehorse, you’ll find the magic of the Copper Moon Gallery. Filled with many artistic treasures, the Copper Moon Gallery has over 4000 sq feet of Northern Fine Art and traditional crafts. From wooden, copper or soapstone carvings to paintings, jewelry, fine woodworking, felting, beading... It’s all here.

The space is alive with art from across the wondrous North, from artists of all ancestries working with every different medium displayed proudly in a comfortable setting of warm colours and a warm fireplace.

Bring yourself in, pour yourself a Copper Moon coffee and prepare to be delighted by the shapes and images presented before you. Tell your friends; bring your family, tell yourself to pass in again.

Rosati Arts and Business Centre

Rosati Arts and Business Centre

The Copper Moon Gallery is located in the Rosati Arts and Business Centre. Built by Nerissa Rosati, the building once was her home. As her children grew and moved on, the building morphed into the art hub that it has now become. Currently, you’ll find small artists’ studios as well as the Yukon Women in Trades and Technology who are always busy holding a variety of workshops. The grounds, with a spectacular view of the Yukon River Valley, provide a great venue for outdoor events and demonstrations, at any time on any day. The common area provides space for workshops and large projects… there is always something going on.
